Read this and come through Christmas without going deeper into debt. Concise and clear, really kicks you in the butt, if you need that.

I PURCHASED A COPY OF THIS BOOK FOR MYSELF & FOR MY SON & HIS WIFE. THEY ARE STRUGGLING WITH FINANCES WITH THE BIRTH OF THEIR TWIN BOYS. I WANTED THEM TO LEARN HOW TO MANAGE THEIR FINANCES'S BETTER & TO LEARN THAT YOU CAN'T JUST GET EVERYTHING YOU WANT JUST BECAUSE YOU WANT IT. I TRULY BELIEVE THAT "MOST" PEOPLE ARE IN DEBT BECAUSE IT IS WHAT THEY CHOSE TO BE. WE LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE PEOPLE & ESPECIALLY YOUNGER ONES THINK JUST BECAUSE I WANT SOMETHING I CAN GET IT NOW & PAY LATER. A Must have book! 2008-12-16
This book is a must have for everyone. I love this book and how candid Larry is with you. He makes it easy to read and understand. This book will make you think and rethink about your relationship with money and how you think about money. I'm eager and ready to go out and earn the money that I have desired to have. Nothing happens over night but with hard work and a renewal of your mind all things are possible.
Entertaining read but nothing special  2008-12-14
I borrowed this from the public library and glad I did. I actually read the whole book in a matter of 4 hours. His writing style keeps you interested but repetition is rampant. There is lots of fillers but some good advice. This book is not about how to get rich but rather things to avoid. Its also filled questionnaires and spaces to write down goals which is always smart. He writes in simple speak probably so his target audience (broke rednecks, as he puts it) can understand better. Most of the topics are common sense but there are good reminders and interesting facts.
