Badly written, disorganised, clumsy and lack of substance 2007-01-30
Apparently the author had written or tried to write a lot on many things.(Please refer to the Table of Content). The problem is, one can learn very little. I really cant grasp any core message or useful technique/strategy/tool. Worst of all, his writing skill was awful. He used paragraphs of words to explain a simple idea that could be presented easily in graphs. Similar ideas were repeated in different chapters. The few graphs shown were bad, too. Perhaps except the first chapter on the problem of index benchmarking which was a bit insightful (but not helpful on personal investing actually), there was nothing useful at all. Somehow I got the feeling that the author simply wanted to write a book to promote his money management business. In short, a waste of time and my hard earned money.

p.s. If I had known of the author's second book "Savvy Home Buying Tactics: Financing Exposed from the Inside (2006)", I would definitely give this 2005 one a pass.
