Excelent for novice photoshop user 2008-08-18 Excellent handbook. It presents the information in easy pace and is easy to understand without computer by your side. It concentrates on the essentials and is excellent thing for persons that have zero knowledge in photoshop.
Fab-u-lous for beginners 2008-08-07 Clear, concise, readily understandable. It doesn't get better than this for the newby or someone who needs a refresher. Perfect!
Indispensible 2008-07-06 Maybe I'm stupid, but I hate going through page after page of Adobe manuals trying to figure out how to do something quickly. This makes it easy and much easier to understand. As they say, you learn by doing--and this and all the other "Visually" books provide better understanding by showing how to do projects without all the background information and techie catchwords. A great book--
Better than the "For Dummies" book on the subject, does not adequately explain "masks" 2008-05-27 If you are looking for detailed explanation of the "mask" function, look elsewhere. Otherwise great!
Excellent book for an entry level 2008-04-20 Pros: the book is colorful, it has picture, step by step instructions, gives you a difficulty level of an exercise, full of tips, color coded by subject, very easy to navigate. Cons: the only wish is that they had more tips and tricks, otherwise it is an excellent book for such complected program as CS3.
