Editorial Review:
Almost eight million people across the United States and Canada tune in to John Tesh's syndicated show each week to hear him warmly impart "intelligence for your life" - tips on how to earn your boss's trust, fight jet lag, get out of debt, find your life's calling or even discover the power of prayer. As one major city newspaper referred to him, "He's like Oprah, but without the edge." With his staff of 10 full-time researchers, Tesh has uncovered a wealth of practical information and life-changing choices. He now combines that knowledge with some incredible personal experiences for this first book in what promises to be a successful ongoing series. In addition to a wide range of helpful tips, this book reveals what has guided him spiritually and professionally to act out his passions.

John Tesh Book 2008-09-29 Book is interesting at points, but brief in most matters. The author needs to be more thourough in his pointers.
Tips you can use! 2008-09-12 I didn't really know what to expect when I ordered this book but was pleasantly surprised. It was an easy fast read that had many useful tips. It was as though I could here Tesh reading the words to me.
I really got a feel for his personality in the writing which made it that much better.
My favorite subject by far was about finding your passion.I have read many career books and this sums it up in one short chapter.
I highly recommend it!!
(I wish it was longer which is the only reason it got 4 stars)
Good Stuff 2008-08-19 John Tesh has written an easy-to-digest little book which covers the basics of a happy life. He's a very down to earth man, adn his stories are both touching and credible. I hope this book is just the first in a "chicken soup" type series.
Solid Common Sense! 2008-06-14 Lots of short little self-motivating lessons from finding passion in your life to taking care of others, taking care of yourself, taking care of business, etc.
One of my favorite suggestions dealt with the constant urge to check e-mail, a big time-waster - Tesh suggests instead dropping down for 10 pushups. That's a great cure! Digesting a "lesson a day" will help brighten your day, and build better tomorrows.
Makes you really think 2008-06-02 The book "Intelligence for Your Life" is a must read. John Tesh challenged me to really evaluate my passions for life. He encouraged me to create a plan to fulfill my dreams.
