Editorial Review:
Wouldn't it be helpful if you could hire Jesus as your personal time-management consultant? He could review your to-do list and say, "That item-that's a waste of time. This-now this is important. And this is okay, as long as it doesn't get in the way of that." Carol Kent and Karen Lee-Thorp maintain that Jesus and the Holy Spirit are eager to offer their wisdom to those who are willing to listen. That's what this study offers: a chance to get Jesus' input on how to put your life in balance. This study helps readers examine the key question, "What's really important?" As readers address that question, they'll discover that it's not important to "do it all!" And they'll learn that as they develop the right heart attitude toward God and others, many of their balance issues will begin to make sense. Then the decisions about what to cut out of our lives will become clear. This study isn't intended as one more item on someone's to-do list. Instead, it's designed to help readers relax and have fun as they make important decisions about the way they structure their lives. Cached date: AWS Called=true

it could be better 2005-10-22 Our Bible study was expecting something a bit different and better than this. There just isn't that much to it. All we are getting out of it is a reassurance that our lives are out of balance but that is about it. There is some scripture but it doesn't always seem to go along with what the chapter is about.
The book has been good in the sense that it does bring us together each week and we do focus on some aspect of the Bible.
