fluffy 2007-05-03 Their are no real techniques for improving memory, I was disapointed. Most of the audio is more of a motivational tape then a aide for improving brain effichiency and memory. If you have low self esteem this is probably a book that might help you. Their was some relevent information on the biological foundations of behavior and mind functioning, but it looks at these aspects more from a perspective of how they function as opposed to giving strong concrete techniques for improving memory and functioning. These concepts (without the fluff) can be picked up in almost any intro psychology book with a quicker explanation.
Informative and Very Helpful 2007-04-14 I have found this product a very useful tool to help me understand my self and my habit "procrastinating". I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to improve there thinking and descision skills. The only thing I found is this is not a quick fix, it takes time, but works. I Love the idea that it is audio and I can listen to it any where.
A very helpful and interesting approach 2006-12-29 If only there were a magic pill to keep from procrastinating! Well, Joan Minninger does a great job of touching on a lot of different areas where progress is blocked and can relate them to our way of thinking and habits. She also does a wonderful job of helping "rewrite the manual" that our brains use to make decisions and create internal speak.
I washed the dishes, cleaned the kitchen and the living room while listening to this audiobook. If you knew me, you'd know THAT is motivation!
A great help! 2006-01-27 Not only did I have the worst memory, but whenever I thought about doing something about it, I would procrastinate so much, I never got around to working on improving it. Well thank goodness my friend gave me this fabulous audio book. Author, Joan Minninger gives you the mind power techniques needed to improve your memory and conquer procrastination. My family has seen such a difference in me since I started following her techniques and I find that I'm enjoying each day more, knowing that I don't have any guilt from the chores that I've put off again and again. Listening to this audio book has enriched my life, as I have learned great mind power techniques to make my mind work for me.
